this clip is one of the more perfect examples i have seen lately of religious nonsense. that term might sound odd coming from me since i am a christian and a regular(unless you ask my mother) church attender, but allow me to explain. start by looking at this, this, this, and this.
'the point?', some of you ask. the point is that stringing together english words does not mean you are communicating in english. one of the reasons why engrish looks and flows the way it does is that it is an attempt to place english words into foreign language sentence constructs. in the same way, this woman's rant uses religious and christian terminology in a construct which seems largely based on old-time country superstition and paganism. she uses jesus's name almost as a hex or a curse, and intersperses religious-sounding terminology like 'god-warrior' which have no real meaning in christianity; and all the while she appears to be denying true christian concepts like charity, love, and gentleness.
now, i do not know ms. perrin personally, and do not purport to be able to judge her beliefs based on an edited version of five minutes of her life. i only state my opinion of the information regarding her that this clip shows.
